Canyons Screensaver is a simple screen saver for your desktop. As it is clear from its name you will view canyons. Well, why canyons? Actually, there is only one scene with a canyon and water in it and, of course, all this under the blue sky. In general the picture is beautiful, but the graphics is not very good, as for me I did not like the waves, because of such waves the water seems not to be water but some liquid substance,a jelly, for example. Still the sky with the clouds is realistic and the canyon itself is rather nice. The water sound effect are not excellent but OK, as for me I think such sound effects will suit better a flow in a quiet bay. Still, it is only my opinion, so you will probably like it and give it a try considering the great fact that it is free.
Also the screen saver is configurable, you will be able to adjust its speed (I guess it is the sound effects speed because it was the only thing that changed somehow), you will be able to select whether you want to stretch the screen saver and turn the sound effects on/off. Also there is the music option on the Configuration window, but nothing changed when I turned it off and then on again as there is no background music at all, so I do not understand why this option is present on the window. |
